Through a wide range of co-curricular and leadership programs, we empower every learner to discover and develop their unique strengths.
National Service Scheme (NSS)
Our active NSS unit engages students in meaningful community service. Through cleanliness drives, awareness campaigns, and participation in social and national observances, students develop a deep sense of responsibility and empathy. Annual camps and field activities also give them real-world exposure to rural life and public service.
Student Police Cadet (SPC)
The SPC program offers rigorous training in discipline, physical fitness, and law awareness. In partnership with the Kerala Police, cadets participate in parade practice, leadership training, and campaigns on public safety, anti-drug awareness, and responsible citizenship. SPC cadets are role models in the school community.
National Cadet Corps (NCC)
Our NCC unit fosters patriotism, leadership, and personal discipline. Students participate in drill training, physical fitness routines, adventure camps, and national celebrations. These experiences not only strengthen their character but also inspire a strong sense of duty towards the nation.
Red Cross Unit
The Red Cross wing promotes compassion and community care. Students are trained in first aid and are involved in organizing health camps, blood donation awareness programs, and disaster response simulations. The unit instills the value of helping others in times of need.
Bharat Scouts and Guides
Through the Bharat Scouts and Guides, students learn life skills, teamwork, and social responsibility. Activities include nature conservation, community service, camping, and flag ceremonies. The movement nurtures leadership qualities and a commitment to helping others.
Little Kites IT Club
As part of Kerala’s state-level Little Kites initiative, this student IT club introduces members to coding, digital tools, and cyber safety. Students assist in organizing tech exhibitions and spreading digital awareness, making them tech-savvy and socially conscious.
Arts Club & Cultural Activities
Our Arts Club gives students a platform to showcase their talents in music, dance, drama, and fine arts. The school’s Annual Youth Festival is a much-anticipated celebration where students compete in literary and cultural events, with winners progressing to sub-district and district-level Kalolsavam competitions.
Sports & Physical Education
Physical activity is an essential part of student life at HSS Chettikulangara. We offer training in athletics, football, volleyball, and badminton. Our Annual Sports Day promotes healthy competition and team spirit, while selected students represent the school in zonal and district-level meets.
